A REPORT ABOUT A SURVEY

The survey was about the use of the computers in the school. In the class there’re twenty-six persons, I did the survey and in general they thought the computers are better to learn than books. Here are the results.

Most people think that changing books for computers in school will be good. The are convinced that they will learn more with the help of the computers, for them the technology is very important. Nearly all the group believe that they will be more intelligent if they use the computers in all the school subjects, while a small part of the group disagrees. Everybody thinks that teachers will like doing class only with computers, without any books. More than half think they can find everything they want. A lot of people think that, in the future, they will rarely take notes with the computers because the lessons will be kept in the Pc, so in the class they will listen to the teacher and the won’t be worried for the notes.

I am the capitan of a cycling club Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The name of the club is Lowlander Cycling Club. I am writing to you because we were planning a tour and were looking for sponsors.

PAULA: Are you O.K?
MARTA: No, I've got very big hit in my head and I've sink some sharks into my hand and I think I've broken my arm.
PAULA: You're really injured, but no panic! I'll call the coastguard. They'll know what do.
MARTA: O.K, hurry  up! It hurts a lot!
PAULA: They'll come son, don't worry.
MARTA: Paula!

MARTA: Some rocks are falling, help!

AN INTERNET FORUM

Hi! My name is Cristina Düthmann and I live in Banyoles, Catalonia. I like the area where I live, so I want to improve it!
In my opinion I think that in Banyoles there aren't many spaces for teenagers or young people. As a result a lot of people go to other citiesi to go to the cinema, or a youth club... 
I think that the council should do something about it to solve that problem. I'm sure they must have some land to build a youth club or a local for teenagers.

MY TRIP TO MADRID

Hi, we are Xènia Salellas, Eloi Compta, Cristina Düthmann and Hug Serra. And today we are going to talk about the trip to Madrid.

The first day we went to visit Congreso de los Diputados. After visit, we went to have lunch in Museo del Jamón. After that we visited the Prado Museum. We also went to relax in Parque del Retiro and saw the Puerta de Alcalá. At night we went to have dinner in Fresco restaurant and finally we went to the hotel.

On the second day we went to Plaza del Sol and we saw important Madrid monuments. We also visited the Plaza Mayor. Then, we went to Almudena cathedral and we also visited the Palacio Real gardens. In the afternoon we visited the Xi'an warriors exhibition and then we walked around Neptuno and Cibeles squares. We also saw the majestic city hall. In the evening we had the famous “Bocata de Calamares” in Plaza Mayor.

On the third day morning we packed our suitcases. Then we walked across the Gran Via and we saw the Plaza España. After that we walked around the Debod temple and then we visited the Senado. In the afternoon we went to the station and we took the train to Girona. It was a fantastic trip.

SUMMERY ROBIN HOOD

The film starts when Robin Hood's fighting on the third Crusades for King Richard. Then with Azeem, he returned to England.

When they arrived to England, Robin Hood discovered that the Sheriff of Nottingham and the King John were  now the rulers. When Robin know that the Sheriff of Nottingham killed his father, he stared being angry and went to the Sherwood Forest, there were when he created a band of outlaws who want King Richard's return and Robin trains to use the sword and a bows. One day Marian, one friend of Robin, went to the forest to be an outaw. They were in love. Robin and his friemd, were fighting small battles against enemies, and stealing money and food.

The attacks between King John and Robin Hood burnt town of the forest and in the battle won Robin Hood, then he returned to the forest and married Marian.

Katy Perry is a composer and singer from USA. Her real name is Katheryn Elisabeth Hudson, Katy Perry is only her artistic name. She was born in Santa Barbara, Clalifornia, USA, in the 25th of October 1984. She is 29 years old. She grew up there in a family of evangelical shepherds. She has an older sister and a younger brother.

She started singing when she was young in a church. She finishes the high school, she left the school and she starts her career like a singer. She studied in academy of music of the west, in Santa Barbara and there where Katy Perry learns  how to sing Italian opera, for a short time. She has got four albums, and her last album was Prism  in 2013.

She was influenced by Queen and Madonna.

JOAQUÍN CORTÉS

Joaquín Cortés was a Spanish dancer. He was born in Córdova in 1969. He grew up to Madrid in 1981 and in New York too in 1999.

Joaquín Cortés started to study dance when he was twelve years old and he went to the Spanish National Ballet when he was 15 years old.

Two of his most shows are Passión Gitana, ans Soul, Live. He is explosive, original and athletic.

A BRAVE RESCUE

This rescue happened while we were on holiday with my family, last Christmas holidays. It was very impressive.
I was with my sister and we were skiing. We were skiing down mountain when my sister saw one boy who was falling from the top of the mount. Then the vigilant of these place went to save him, as soon as he saw the guy.
The guards tool the boy to safe place and saw if the boy was alive. The boy didn't answer the guards. Then the guards took him to the hospital.

MEMORABLE DAY

I remember my fifth birthday, eight years ago. It was really fun!

First my friends went to my house. After that we went to the park for playing. We returned to my house and we had lunch. I blew the candles on my chocolate cake. Then my parents gave me presents. My favourite was very big teddy bear.

There were about nine people at my birthday. I remember one of my friend clearly because we she had a really strange dress. It was really fun day and I felt very happpy

IDEAL HOME

IDEAL HOME:
Here we are in my ideal home. It's a modern flat neat the lake and the centre of  Banyoles. It's bigger, and it's got everything. It's got four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. The living room has got a nice balcony and you can see the lake.

On a ideal afternoon in my ideal home we're all there. My mum is in the kitchen making dinner and sometimes I help her. My sister is in her bedroom and me too. I've got a new television and I'm watching the TV.

My favourite room is the living room. It's got a big television and a big sofa. I like this room because I can relax and watch the TV, and also I can talk with my mum and my sister.

MY LAST SUMMER

WRITING:

-SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP:

On  July, I was in the rowing Spanish Championship in Banyoles. I rowed with 3 more girls, Laura, Alba and Marta, and in the competition I rowed against Laia Tortós, Laia Arnau, Marina Marcé, Laura Boix and 10 more tripulations. The competiton was very good for us, and finally we were third of Spain.

-PARIS:

I went to Paris for 10 days with my sister, Elisabet Planas and my teacher of French, we visited a lot of museums, the Tour Eiffel at day and at night, Moulin Rouge, and a lots of interesting places.                                             

Those days I learned a lot of French, because we speak all day in French.

-ROSES/ BANYOLES:

After Paris I went two weeks at Roses, with my dad and  my sister, we went every day in the morning at the beach, and in the afternoons my sister and I we go to the swimming pool of my house, or the summer homework...

And the two last weeks we stayed here, in Banyoles, and we prepared all things to start school, and just enjoyed the last days of summer.
