MY TRIP TO MADRID

Hi, we are Xènia Salellas, Eloi Compta, Cristina Düthmann and Hug Serra. And today we are going to talk about the trip to Madrid.

The first day we went to visit Congreso de los Diputados. After visit, we went to have lunch in Museo del Jamón. After that we visited the Prado Museum. We also went to relax in Parque del Retiro and saw the Puerta de Alcalá. At night we went to have dinner in Fresco restaurant and finally we went to the hotel.

On the second day we went to Plaza del Sol and we saw important Madrid monuments. We also visited the Plaza Mayor. Then, we went to Almudena cathedral and we also visited the Palacio Real gardens. In the afternoon we visited the Xi'an warriors exhibition and then we walked around Neptuno and Cibeles squares. We also saw the majestic city hall. In the evening we had the famous “Bocata de Calamares” in Plaza Mayor.

On the third day morning we packed our suitcases. Then we walked across the Gran Via and we saw the Plaza España. After that we walked around the Debod temple and then we visited the Senado. In the afternoon we went to the station and we took the train to Girona. It was a fantastic trip.

Katy Perry is a composer and singer from USA. Her real name is Katheryn Elisabeth Hudson, Katy Perry is only her artistic name. She was born in Santa Barbara, Clalifornia, USA, in the 25th of October 1984. She is 29 years old. She grew up there in a family of evangelical shepherds. She has an older sister and a younger brother.

She started singing when she was young in a church. She finishes the high school, she left the school and she starts her career like a singer. She studied in academy of music of the west, in Santa Barbara and there where Katy Perry learns  how to sing Italian opera, for a short time. She has got four albums, and her last album was Prism  in 2013.

She was influenced by Queen and Madonna.

She was famous for her clothes, songs of scenes and her shows, because some of those are made of candies, jelly bears, lollipops ans sweet things.

1.My last summer

WRITING:

-SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP:

On  July, I was in the rowing Spanish Championship in Banyoles. I rowed with 3 more girls, Laura, Alba and Marta, and in the competition I rowed against Laia Tortós, Laia Arnau, Marina Marcé, Laura Boix and 10 more tripulations. The competiton was very good for us, and finally we were third of Spain.

-PARIS:

I went to Paris for 10 days with my sister, Elisabet Planas and my teacher of French, we visited a lot of museums, the Tour Eiffel at day and at night, Moulin Rouge, and a lots of interesting places.                                             

Those days I learned a lot of French, because we speak all day in French.

-ROSES/ BANYOLES:

After Paris I went two weeks at Roses, with my dad and  my sister, we went every day in the morning at the beach, and in the afternoons my sister and I we go to the swimming pool of my house, or the summer homework...

And the two last weeks we stayed here, in Banyoles, and we prepared all things to start school, and just enjoyed the last days of summer.

Núria J: She went to Ibiza and to the National Catalan Day.
Xènia T: She wento to English lessons, to les Fonts del Llobregat and to the Salt Sellent.
Elisenda V: She spent 1 week in Arcada, 1 week in London and 3 days in Palamós.
Xènia S: She had a great time in Lourdes, and in July, she did a Musical in the Ateneu
Laia t: She went to rowing championship and she finally went first.
Quim T: He went to tennis campus.
Cèlia E: She went to a English summer camp.
Laura T: She training all July.
